Do I have to stay at the Cambria Hotel Downtown Denver?
No! But, we picked The Cambria Hotel to make things easy for a majority of guests. The Cambria is less than 2 miles away from our wedding venue, less than 6 miles from our home, and walking distance to our Welcome Party venue, Number 38.
Can I bring the kids?
Please do. Our families, and our friends' families, are growing bigger every day and we wanted a chance to get everyone together. Plus, some of our favorite memories are family weddings over the years, and we want the kids to make those memories too! All we ask is to please make sure that you RSVP for every person in your family that will be attending. If we missed a part of your family in our RSVP form, please let us know.
What's the parking situation at the wedding?
It might be best to Uber/Lyft because this wedding is going to be a party!! But there is ample parking at the wedding venue. Our wedding is happening near the Hydro Building (looks like a space ship), there is parking behind the Vida Building's horse stables. Follow this link for a map and more detailed directions if you need it. There will be signage around campus to help provide directions as needed. The parking lot is a 2-3 minute walk to the exact location of the wedding ceremony. Cars can be left in the parking lot overnight.
Should I get a rental car? What's the driving situation going be like for this weekend?
There are a lot of options for getting to and from around Denver. If you are flying in to DIA, you can take the light rail/train (A Line) directly from the airport to the 38th/Blake Station. From this station, walk over a pedestrian bridge and 3 city blocks and you will arrive at the Cambria Hotel (check your Google Maps, but it is extremely walkable and we highly recommend it!). On the wedding day, you will need an Uber/Lyft/Taxi to get from the hotel to the wedding).
